Mosaic Tile Shower

This is a mosaic tile shower where the small 2" x 2" tiles are already placed on 12" x 12" mesh sheets. A fiberglass shower pan was used.

This was an installation where the customers bought their products at a big box store. They were guided to incorrect products and amounts. Just remember that even if you are a do-it-yourself-er, call a professional for a little advise. It will save you trips back to the store and frustrations later.

Bath in Tile and Dura Ceramic

In this remodel the customers wanted to use their existing vanity, vanity top, mirror, and linen cabinet. We installed a new window and trim, while tile was installed in the shower and walls. A Dura Ceramic tile that blended was used on the floor.

Narrow-Depth Roll-Top Desk

This s-curved roll-topped desk needed to be custom built due to the computer that customers owned and the fact that they wanted it to be much narrower than pre-made roll-tops. Of course the pigeon holes, grommet, hanging file drawer and other drawers were also made just for how they would use the desk.

Bath Access and Tile Work

The customers on this project had already bought their vanity. We made a stained-to-match access panel for their bath, laid tile in a straight-set, and tiled around the bath.

Basement Bedroom

This basement bedroom is 9'x13' with less than an 8' ceiling height. A few tricks were used to make it feel bigger than it is.

Setting the tile rug tricks your eye, making the floor space appear bigger than it is.

Creating a wall of built-in cabinetry allowed the room to have a consistent look without feeling "heavy" due to the small window.

Using Roman arches on the egress window and cabinets makes the room height appear higher than it is.

Since the ceiling height is low and the room small, crown molding was used so that your eye follows around the room matching up with the cabinetry, much like a decorative border in a small bath leading into a tile shower.

The final and biggest impact is the addition of the wall-window. "Ground" glass was used here so that light could pass from the egress window, through the wall-window, into the family room. With the addition of this third window and recessed lights, this small bedroom feels much larger and lighter.

Corner Gas Fire Place

This was an interesting combination of faux stone and red oak. This was one instance where everything needed to be custom built because of the fire box size, existing outlets, venting issues, and proximity of the picture window.

If you are considering a fire place remember to take into consideration what you will need to work around.
