Hardwood Staircase, Hardwood Flooring, and Slate Tile Entry

This flooring was "real" oak hardwood; 3/4" thick, medium grade, red oak. Educate yourself about "real hardwood". Often times what you see on TV is laminate or engineered wood flooring, but it is called hardwood. Each type of flooring has different benefits so learn what is best for your situation and life-style.

The staircase treads and risers were also covered in hardwood. The entry was tiled in slate.

  1. Picking the slate tile flooring option for your entry is a wise decision considering that this area is where most people would literally step in and out.
